You Played a Role in the Success of the James Webb Space Telescope
In his day job he was involved with the group who designed and built the fine guidance center for the James Webb Space Telescope here in Ottawa. When a telescope goes into space, there are two departments that oversee that. The science center gets all the grant applications to decide what it's going to point at. They were chosen by NASA two years before the launch to be the science center and the operation center of the James Webb.
