Mark Twain wrote a book called "The Rules for Writing" It's about how to write narrative stories. He lists some rules that he says are good for you as a reader, but they're more focused on narrative. And one of them is: Use the right word and not its second cousin Iskewage. But this rule is flung down and danced upon in the Dear Slayer tale. In addition to these large ones, there are some little ones too.
