Moulded coins are the kind where you do exactly what i'm talking about. And in fact, people do make coins. It's exactly the way you're making the parts. You create that negative. The reverse on some type of metal is then hit with a hammer into metal. Soits its silver as this is an ounce. T looks se so that's when you say strike a coin, it's because there's physically a hammer strike involved. I'm actually doing something similar. I'm making a injection moulds for plastic parts.
