CHAPTER

I Believe in God and All I Think of as God Is Love

I try to sit down and I just quietly say to myself, sometimes aloud, that things are grateful for in my life. And it doesn't require any deity. No one has to be listening on the other end of the line for that to be useful. So if God is love, then I believe in love. But I don't want to use that crazy other word, which means every single thing in the world and nothing. We're alive for a short amount of time. If I look at an ant, doesn't ant have a consciousness? Yeah. Do I think that it needed a divine one or that it will exist afterwards? Ridiculous.
