Is This the Inflation Acceleration Act?
Republicans are more interested in trying to prevent president byden from getting a quoanqote win, and are very motivated by the fossil fuel industry that donates immensely to their campaigns. They wouldn't have supported this bill if it were just the climate provisions. The bill is yet to be voted on in the house of representatives. But did democrats actually try to reach out to the opposition? Or did they just think, well, wecan get it through on our vote alone, so why bother? Well, to some of our frustration, senator mansion did try extensively to reach out and held a series of by partisan energy talks over a number of months this year.
