I want you to think about are you being really hard on yourself here with your expectations of what it means to have a quote unquote real committed practice. Where do those ideas come from for you? Do they need to change? What is happening in that Maslow hierarchy of needs? Like do you feel like your base needs are met so that you can do the bigger high meaning work because I also hear in a little bit of what you're saying that it's not a job like being an artist isn't a job, it's a vocation.
