Synths and the Doobies
I couldn't afford any of that stuff, you know, prior to joining the doogies. Billy Payne played a lot of the synths on those, on that album with us too. I think they actually sampled them off of doobies records. And at the time, they were considered some of the worst synths sounds ever developed for any record. We did all our synths stuff at Amigo Studios, which was Warner Studios.
