The Importance of Training for Endurance Sports

The body adapts very quickly exercises such a powerful stimulus so the point of that is to say that just like in Formula One you can't design a race car based on the chassis of your family Ford it doesn't scale up. I think we have a similar issue that we have a lot of data on untrained to trained transitions that don't really translate to a setting where athletes are already well trained but they're trying to squeeze out additional adaptations okay and so that was an first thing for me when I moved to Norway.
