The Psychology of Juvenile Justice
Rob Greene: I love the juvenile system. My father was an SDP02 for California, which is a deputy probation officer for the juvenile system in Los Angeles. He retired from it, you know, because it's like we said before, can't change the system from within inside. It just doesn't work. So he kind of bailed out, but he at least was like, "At least I could be an advocate for the time that I'm there" And so my first teaching experience was all in the juvenile systems. Yeah. There's an anthropological theory I'm kind of fond of, which is the idea that essentially all civilization started because of the need to raise kids.
