The Main Trunk of a Tradition

Doctors in modern times, believe it or not, are still required to learn and memorize the hypocratic oath. Imagine how good modern medicine would be to day if every time a general practitioner or family physician or surgeon was about to touch you, they had to stop and instead of thinking about the surance benefit of convincing you to do some procedure that's not necessary for you. I think it would revolutionize medicine radically to day. And i would be a great advocate of it. It would only take five minutes to recite the hypocritic oath prior to treating y. Now, in our meditation tradition, we do the equivalent of that.
