I've Found Metaphors Influencing the Way That We Live

In your book you talk about a shift away from a monopoly of g d p to a panoply of living metrics. Can we not move away from thinking that the best symmetric is the single number where everything has been simplified and combined and added into one? i think we are entering an era in which the dashboard of metric is going to be the true valuable method by which we measure and assess the state of health, whether it's of the human body or of the planetary body. And that means we need to learn which numbers to bring together, how best to represent them.
