The Education Requirement for Prescription Drug Prescribers
There is a new training requirement that the DEA has now put out. It's a one-time, eight-hour training requirement on the treatment of patients with opioid or other substance use disorders. And this is going to be required through basically a box that you check off when you either apply for your initial or renewal of your DEA registration. But it would help if a number of celebrities came out and said that they had started buprenorphine recently and it was helping them.
