Is the Bible a Revisionist Narrative?
He's proposing a view that holds that the books of the bible as we have them were written at a later date than is commonly understood. A king, josiah in particular, instituted a reform that ah, that was monotheistic and just wanted to focus on yawe alone. And this is a narrative that you find in some scholarship, but it is not the picture that we find in the bible itself. He's advocating a revisionist narrative that doesn't actually correspond to the biblical text.
