Is There Still a Certain Degree of Professional Rationality in Russian Forces?
Putin is a rational actor and he can get his head round, at least tactical defeats, given time. He now has with Kersan without feeling the need to escalate and do everything. It's interesting that we are seeing belatedly more professional rationality coming into actually how Russian forces are being used and deployed. So yes, it's all looking not quite so shambolic as it did a month, two months ago.
