The Knights of St John
After Rhodes has fallen under a truce handed over to Selim and Magnificent in return for being allowed to sail away with their guns, treasure etc the knights of St John are basically nomads for about eight years. Then they're given in 50-30 the island of Malta and it's not a patch on Rhodes it's a huge disappointment to them but they take what it's given. They know at certain stage Selim and all the Ottomans are going to try and take Malta so they hurriedly try in 1565.
