The Appeal of Tregueteslang

I wonder if some of the appeal would be lessened if it looked more like English. I have always said this has got to be the easiest language for an English speaker to learn on the world. Did you do any thinking about or research about what's the local dialect where this show is taking place and like, you know, extrapolating from that at all? Yes, I did. Unfortunately, all of the speakers on the show are Canadian.
