Wolsey's shadow approached the writer with kind of a big ask, but that will, once again, be regt after this. The princess was more than happy to oblige and she swirled away to speak with a shadow for what she thought was the first time. He seemed to know everything about everything, his replies wise and eloquent. Throughout their conversation, the princess stole glances at shadow across the room. Obviously, a gentleman who had such a knowledgeable shadow must be all the more impressive himself. So if you don't mind, could you talk to him like a regular human? he asked.
