The first example of life learning how to co operate together was involuntary. They there was a mutation that caused their cell membranes to get sticky. So you can't fight each other ecause you're stuck together, so you might as well eat other stuff al ight. The other and more common way is through what is called a colonization. We know this because 80 % of the bio mass on earth is a bunch of colonizers, colonizing life. What is colonizing life? It's plants, right? Like, what did plants do?
