The Risk of China Invading Taiwan
I believe it's inevitable. If you look at what they're doing in the financial markets, Julia, they still run a $380 billion trade deficit with America or surplus. They are building 18 new air raid shelters in Fuzhan province, which is right opposite the Taiwan Strait from Taiwan. I mean, these are textbook war preparation maneuvers. What would make sense is they run big dollar surpluses. They buy dollar Treasuries. We have the highest yields and deepest capital markets in the world.
