The Importance of Deceleration Patterns in Athletic Performance

People get hyper focus on the knee and they're not spending that time working on the foot or the hip uh or the trunk so now look is it important but you know everything's important as we know. I just like to rewind a little bit and go back to deceleration if we can in terms of coaching for an individual athlete. What i do is i'll pay attention watching an athlete maybe do a closed drill in front of me or just even watch some of their footage on film or tape or their sport  I think a lot of athletes are truly unaware about what happens when they go to decelerate, he says.
