How to Cope With Social Anxiety
All anxiety is at least partially genetic. It's harder to pinpoint the genetics of anxiety, but it does run in families. If you have a first degree relative with social anxiety, you are six to eight times as likely to also have social anxiety. The third thing is coping. We often feel like our perceived fatal flaw is hanging out there for everyone to see. And so we make an effort to compensate to try to cancel out that perceived fatal flaw.
