Philosophy - What Is It All About?

Heihdiger says language and formal logic are a prison that he's trying to break philosophy out of. This is why he's so interested in using phenomenology to study being at its very foundations. In other words, before we ever get to ad on these abstractions and human inventions like language and logic that just narrow and distort the way that we look at what it is to be. How do i fit into the world? How did the world get the way that it is? What is the nature of subjectivity? Et cetera.
