How to Honor Your Colleagues

If America is a country on the edge of divorce, how do each side honor each other? Well, look, I can tell you how it's done because I'm old enough so that I remember when it was normal. The entire posture is look my esteemed colleague from the other side. There's this constant handing over of gestures of respect and even affection and good humor. That creates a very real bond of mutual loyalty when both sides are doing that. But there's certainly a point beyond which you can't you can't make that repair. And then you have civil war.
