There is an amazing development, yes, of Christology and Soteriology, but it is not new in the fact that Christ saved. Christ had an eternal plan of redemption that had already been established in other places. So Ephesians kind of building on this idea that the heavens and everything on the earth is being brought to a complete, redemptive end is not new to Ephesians. It was already established earlier in the book of Romans in another places.
