The Origins of the Book of Mormon

Grant Palmer in his book an insider's view of Mormon origins does a great accounting for Joseph Smith. He shows how phrases from sermons given by Protestant ministers in upstate New York in the early 1800s are almost identical to Book of Mormon prophets like Helman and Alma. The content of these Protestant sermons that Joseph Smith would have drawn from is almost as pseudepigropha, says Nemo. "No one else but Joseph Smith could have written it," he adds.
