The longer you're on an antidepressant, the more likely you might have withdrawal symptoms. The people who are on drugs for just a few weeks or months tend not to have much trouble coming off. We don't have a lot of information about what the risk factors are for withdrawal symptoms. But yes, in my clinical experience, I definitely see that.
