Luddite sentiment that we need to stop. The idea of moderating the output of these LLMs is kind of crazy because it's going to turn the LLMs into a culture war object. I'm much more worried about the stagnation apocalypse that is upon us immediately than this somewhat more imaginary alignment problem, which I believe is still a problem. Someone should be thinking about it, but I don't think we should stop the breaks on our progress because of it.
