I think it's not that hard to be a great lover if you just really care about the person that you're with and you're curious. It can be equally satisfying to please another person as it is yourself. A lot of men, it's just men and sex, it's a whole different beast than women and sex like their egos are wrapped up into it more than our emotions are.
