What Are Your Moments When You Think Patagonia Might Fail?
In the late eighties, Patagonia was growing 50% a year. The banks wouldn't give us any more money and i had to lay people off. We didn't know whether we're going to make it or not. I turned down some loans from mofia guys who wanted to low me some money at 18%. But what saved us is we got some personal loans from some friends and pretty much fired some management that got us into this problem and turned things around.
