The Running Sore at the Northern Island Protocol

I think there will be an election. Even if the polls indicate that well over half of the Tory MPs will lose their seats, it's going to get worse. How long can you go on with somebody who has never saw a mandate, doesn't have a mandate, has no authority? It just doesn't seem very likely that that's going to last. So this is thing of, do you want to go while it's bad? You know, stabilize it a bit, get someone vaguely credible and hope to go to the country and limit the losses. That would seem to me to be the most sensible strategy rather than waiting for things to getting worse.
