Is It a White Supremacy?
Right populism is interested in a multi racial working class coalition, even if that's the end. What i'm not entirely sure about is what role white supremacy plays as a barrier to that. The people who are supposed to be organizing the sort of labor class are often defining themselves in opposition to this large wing of the american working class. I think when you see someone like trump punch down on certain issues and those workers' issues, it taps into that new sense of whiteness. And so i think we're seeing some very interesting things happening right now with migrants coming across the southern border.
