The McClure Expedition to the Northwest Passage

Many countries had tried for centuries to find the Northwest Passage. England was in many ways leading this charge and they had sunk a lot of resources into doing it. However, even though they were ready and willing to spend a lot of money and a lot of lives and finding it, they had some kind of antiquated beliefs about what they were in for.
