Incapacitation or Killing?

They never say they don't want to be killed. They just have the normal reactions someone does to getting stabbed, right? And i think one was like cowering or something, wasn't it? Or maybebe breathing, i can't remember, yes. Sifly breathing or tranquil, it was choking on its own fluids. One was punctured, it seems like, i mean, i don't know. It's got to be horrifying.
