"It's not like there's this moment where you pop the champagne because this is a green lighted project," he says. "The studio just keeps moving closer and closer and closer to making it a reality" Matt Damon expressed an interest, which made the studio take more interest in the film. Ridley Scott and Matt Damon then started really falling into place. The cast was so incredible no one should be able to afford but they did it for less than they're worth.
