The Secret Room in the Roof
Two elderly maids left their ashtrays in a room that was formally occupied by two ladies. When the chambermaid went to clean out, she found tobacco-ash scattered about the floor. Peter Ormark says it could be an obvious case of secret historical lesbians going around the country on motorbikes and shooting clay pigeons. He also believes there may have been a secret room in the roof where people would hide if they heard noises from empty rooms.
