Weave is a distributed hash table, we call it. Its a way of saying, hey, i'm looking for this hash te content of a piece of content that goes by this name and the network will root you too. It's an interplanetary file system. There is no disk attached to the system by default. And you can actually use o weve as a disk for ip fes, which a lot of people are doing now.
