I Lost All My Funds - Is That a Scam?
The amount of people putting their seeds in a computer is tiny, right? Majority of people who do use their own self-custered solution do use harder wallets. Most people get compromised through phishing. The single biggest advantage that a dedicated hardware wallet or hardware signer does is I'm able to tell them when they get into it that they should only enter their secret backup words. That's what I call the seed to them into the device. And you may not see attacks while this does install base is tiny, but as it grows, you will and people won't know what happened.
