The Importance of Having a Mentor
I did not have good idea what I want to do when I started my PhD. I always had some random creative ideas, I did not have a big picture. My thesis proposal was very different from my thesis defense in terms of scope topics. It really depends on the right person who introduces you to the field and makes it fun.
