Real Presence and Transubstantiation in a Christian World View
The doctrine of transubstantiation is not adequate to a basic christian world view. God doesn't need to physically manipulate things in order for god to be really active, right? If god's relationship with creation is such that god can be fully that jesus can be fully human and fully divine, that says something about god not being in competition with creation. That impacts how we how we read scripture. It impacts what we think of ethics. It impacts how we think about the incarnation.
