The Relation Between Water and Dropping Leaves

Researchers at Harvard did the study of the weather effects on the timing of fall color. So long as you don't have a severe drought, some trees will just drop their leaves before they fully develop color. If it then that period from mid September into October you are very sunny. And I think that's why it led to such bright colors this year.
