I think the federal government is so poorly designed to deal with something like adaptation. It's been exciting to see a number of professional networks start up. I expect that pandemic planning will be the hot new thing after this in terms of people offering their services. But everyone is turning what they were already doing and they called it resiliency planning.
In a re-release, episode 111 of America Adapts, Doug Parsons hosts Dr. Linda Shi, an Assistant Professor in the Department of City and Regional Planning at Cornell University.
