Homonationalism and Violence

This chapter examines the concept of homonationalism, revealing how the narratives of gay liberation have been misappropriated to justify violence under American imperialism. It critiques the oversimplification of Middle Eastern identities and highlights the contradictions between the portrayal of Israel as a beacon of queer liberation and the realities of systemic violence against Palestinians.
