The Carnival After the War

There are mixed feelings, very contradiction feelings about these carnival events immediately after the war. Most of Germans style themselves as victims, it's the process of self victimization. And so it was easy for them to feel, do you call it self-pityness? Much more than that they felt guilt about what they have done.
