In a close friendship, it can feel like you're always trying to help the person or give them advice. Instead of enjoying each other's company and having great conversations, there's this dynamic where the friendship seems to be more about them. "It does feel like actually limits my closeness to them because our relationship feels like imbalanced," he says.
