Without the huge hiring in the past few years and then the huge layoffs recently, we may have seen some of the like mythical man-month Parkinson's law type of thing. It's almost like they were stockpiling talent so that small, soft software companies couldn't get them. But there's a huge cost to the coordination of all these people. And sometimes the more people you add, the slower things go.
