Clarence Thomas' Confirmation Hearings Ended in Chaos

Clarence Thomas ran into trouble today with overcharges of sexual harassment against him. FBI did indeed interview Anita Hill, a former subordinate of Thomas' journalist, Jill Abramson. The effect was to create chaos and a great deal of uncertainty about what would happen on Capitol Hill. Some senators are calling for a postponement of this week's confirmation vote.
