The Engines of a Supersonic Airplane
The aircraft had four engines, and it took advantage of what they called reheat technology. Each one of these engines could produce 38 thousand pounds of thrust. The plane frame also had to withstand crazy amounts of pressure from the shock waves as well as high temperatures from air friction. Which sounds strikingly familiar to r s r sseventy one episode,.
