God's Name Is a Name That's Become Its Own Thing
There are four places in the hebrew bible where god puts his name to claim it. In deuteronomy 12, moses is saying when you go into the land, there's going to be this place that god's going to choose. He also makes a reference to the gentiles who bear my name and how they can become covenant members without converting to judaism first. And so if we look at putting the name back on them, that takes us back to our early church services of blessing their faces with God's name. So may away bless you and keep you over the people.
