"I was just doing stuff, doing my exams rewall. And I don't know, just doing what I was told," she says of her early years in school. "My parents could never have predicted what we're right now." She and a friend were inspired to start their own company when they met Jim O'Shaughnessy's team at COVID. They've been working on winning the fellowship for 10 years but didn't think it would be possible until this year.
