Climate Offsets and Carbon Credits - Are They Really a Solution?
Climate credits are a form of indulgence, where you pay for the right to pollute by paying off the damage va some sort of future project that will kind of offset the amount of carbon you amit. It's not clear if creating all this additional complexity and all this additional financialization on top ofs planting trees, is actually getting more trees planted. The problem is doing supernational solutions and resources projects which take money away from real action.
